Warne's Rajasthan Royals dominates IPL

Australian leg-spinning great Shane Warne continues to dominate the cricket in the Indian Premier League - his Rajasthan Royals sit on top of the IPL table with nine wins from 11 matches.
The Rajasthan Royals have become the first team to qualify for the May 30-31 semi-finals with their six wicket win over Kolkata in their latest match. Before the series began, the Royals were labelled the underdogs in the competition and the only team to have a player/coach (Warne) but the spin wizard has proved that he has lost none of the wizardry that made him the world's greatest leg-spinner since retiring from international cricket in early 2007.
Warne has expressed a desire to let the lesser known players from his side prove their worth in the matches to come while also getting one up on the teams likely to make the finals.
"We got Chennai, Mohali and Mumbai who are 2, 3 and 4 (on the current IPL points table) so it's a good opportunity as we will be facing one of those sides in the finals. The next three games are a big challenge for us. We're going to try and get one up on those teams that we might have to play in the finals," said Shane Warne.
The Royals' next match is against the Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 24. [iplt20.com]
